no wings for me

yeap, as the title suggest, decided not to go for the pilot test after all...gave it a thought for the past few days, really dun see myself flying a plane, be it military or commercial, 6 years down the road...my interest just does not lie there...interested in research work better...

to me, yeh, being pilot has its prestige, the monetary rewards, visiting places around the world etc...but socially, i think the life of a pilot is not something i look forward to...jetting around periodically, away from home...guess that is not the life i want and not the life that i look forward to...so just sticking to good old reseach work...=)...the nine-to-five usual? hahaz...but lab work will be interesting...esp in chem...hahaz...

went to scholarship day 2004...interested in the DSTA scholarship...but it is a popular and highly sought after scholarship tho...dunno if i can get it...really hope to tho...then can ease the burden of my parents for my studies...thinking of getting my basic chemistry degree in singapore and going overseas to further my studies...but everything is still a blur and not confirmed...things change...maybe after NS will have another idea...dunno...see how first...
